One Child @ a Time - December 2023

From the Blessman International team and the children in South Africa, we wish you a Merry Christmas and want to thank you for the support you have graciously given to our ministry so that we can serve the child you sponsor and, with you, make an impact in their life.

We are grateful for the support of sponsors like you, who provided funding for the Del Cramer Child Development Center to host a Christmas Celebration. The children learned about the hope and joy found in the birth of Christ Jesus. Please enjoy the video clip from the party!

Children in South Africa are about to start their month-long holiday break from school, so we encourage you to write them a final letter of 2022 to wish them a happy break and holidays. Here are some tips on what to write about to get your writing juices flowing:

  • Ask what their favorite part of Christmas is and share yours with them. (Note: try to avoid speaking of material things, as gifts and presents aren’t a big part of many of these children’s Christmas. Some may only receive the gift they got at the Del Cramer Christmas party.)

  • Ask them how they enjoyed the Christmas party and their favorite part.
  • Ask them what they will be doing over their break or what they enjoy doing when they are not in school.

  • Share with them the importance and significance of Jesus’ birth in your life and Christmas, and ask what it means to them.

  • The children will start a new school year in January; ask them what they are most excited about or looking forward to.

We appreciate the blessing that you are to your child, not only through your financial support but also your dedication to building a relationship with them.

Merry Christmas from the children and Blessman International team!
