We can have all the programming in the world and still not affect the true root of a problem. We believe that the love of Christ is the key to lasting impact. Lighthouse Christian Church was planted to preach the Word of God and teach principles that will fully impact those we serve. Lighthouse Church was planted in 2011 and is pastored by Pastor Jonathan Mkulama.

It is located at Del Cramer Campus near Mokopane. The church ministers to adults and children.

Mountain View Hope Church was planted in 2015 to help to serve and reach out to the many farm workers that work at and near our Mountain View Farm campus. The church meets at a local school and is in a position to impact the lives of farm workers as well the student population of the school.

As Blessman International has developed relationships with local schools through our various outreaches, we have been given the opportunity to participate in school assemblies at four area high schools. Our pastors spend twenty minutes in each assembly speaking the truth of God’s Word. In some of the schools, students have joined Bible clubs that meet on campus to do deeper Bible study and to be discipled in their Christian faith.

Blessman International sees the importance of developing the young leaders in the communities where we work. We have been able to impact the lives of about 40 students over the past 4 years to become better leaders in their community, impacting 100’s of their fellow students. The ministry is continuing to look at ways to impact more young leaders in schools across all the areas where we work. Our aim is to do this by training facilitators that will present programs like, No Apologies, Alpha and other leadership material to young leaders, inspiring them to make a difference in their schools and communities.

No Apologies is a character-based abstinence curriculum developed by Focus on the Family that helps young people make wise choices regarding high-risk behavior, including sexual involvement before marriage. Blessman International is using this curriculum along with the distribution of Days for Girls reusable feminine hygiene kits. The curriculum deals with the value of the individual, marriage, the family and the importance of keeping ourselves pure for our future spouse. The objectives of the No Apologies curriculum are to help participants:

1 – Understand the value of character and abstinence leading to healthy behavior
2 – Identify clearly the consequences associated with premarital sexual activity
3 – Recognize the relationship between love and sex and the benefits of saving sex for marriage
4 – Practice skills necessary to achieve the goal of abstinence from premarital sexual involvement

Energetic facilitators speak the truth about life, love, and sex with learners in schools across the country. Our facilitators are vetted for not only character but passion to work with youth. They love what they do and it shows! Learners build trust with the facilitators which creates a positive, open environment for youth to share what’s really going on with someone who can help point them in a positive direction.
