Brett Hendrickson Named Executive Director of Blessman International

Blessman International is pleased to announce the promotion of Brett Hendrickson to the role of Executive Director, where he will lead the U.S. team in furthering the mission of serving South African children and their families. Brett joined Blessman International in May 2023 as Director of Church and Pastoral Relations, bringing with him a wealth of experience and passion for ministry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, both from Evangel University. Prior to joining Blessman International, Brett served as Worship Pastor at New Hope Assembly of God in Des Moines for 24 years. 

 “Brett has a heart for international missions and has been doing an incredible job building relationships with churches and pastors,” said President and Founder Dr. Jim Blessman. “He has a deep understanding of the ministry’s goals and culture, making him a natural fit to lead our U.S. team.” 

 Reflecting on his new role, Brett shared, “God used Doc and Beth to create an incredible ministry, and I am humbled and honored to be part of it. Our team will do all we can to continue to bring South African children and their families the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
