This year’s Blessman International Gala was truly one for the books.
Held for the first time at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny, the evening offered a fresh and beautiful backdrop to gather friends, supporters, and partners from across Iowa and beyond. From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense of joy and expectation in the air, a clear sign that God was at work.
We gathered to celebrate a legacy of love, recognizing all that God has done and continues to do through the faithful obedience of Dr. Jim and Beth Blessman. Their vision and sacrifice have paved the way for more than two decades of impactful ministry in South Africa, and it was a joy to honor their journey alongside so many who have stood with them over the years.
It was a special blessing to have Dustin and Alexandra Blessman in Iowa for the gala. As leaders of our operations in South Africa, their presence helped close the gap between continents and brought powerful testimony to the life-changing work being done every day.
Throughout the evening, we had the privilege of honoring several dear friends of the ministry, individuals and organizations whose faithful support has helped fuel this mission. Their quiet, consistent generosity is part of the reason thousands of children are fed, cared for, and given the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus.
Most importantly, the Lord moved in hearts. We are thrilled to share that the outpouring of support from our community will make a meaningful difference in our work in South Africa. This allows us to continue feeding vulnerable children, restoring dignity through compassion ministries, and, most importantly, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
To everyone who attended, supported, gave, or prayed—thank you. Your partnership helps us continue to do the work God has called us to do, one child at a time. We’re already looking ahead to next year and can’t wait to see how God continues to use this ministry to impact lives around the world.
