Support What God is Doing in South Africa - No Trip Required
July 2, 2025

When people hear about the work God is doing through Blessman International, it’s natural to want to be part of it. Maybe you’ve seen the impact of our feeding programs, our clean water and sanitation projects, or our discipleship and girls empowerment efforts—and you’ve asked yourself, How can I help? The good news is that supporting the mission doesn’t have to mean hopping on a plane or hosting a major event. There are plenty of meaningful, practical ways to make a difference right where you are. Whether you’re an individual, a small group, or part of a church community, here are seven easy ways you can support Blessman International and bring hope to children and families in South Africa.
1. Host a Home Gathering with a Blessman Speaker
Open your home for an evening of impact. Invite friends, neighbors, or small group members for dinner or dessert, and we’ll join you, either in person or via Zoom. A member of our team will share stories from South Africa, answer questions, and explain how guests can get involved through giving or going.
2. Ask Your Church to Host a Missions Moment
Many churches are eager to highlight global missions but don’t have time to research vetted partners. Blessman International is already an approved ministry partner of the Global Methodist Church. We’d love to be part of your church’s service or missions Sunday. Whether it’s a short video, a live presentation, or a printed bulletin insert, we’ll work with your pastor or missions leader to make it easy.
3. Start a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser
Create a simple online fundraiser to share on social media for your birthday, anniversary, or mission-minded campaign. We’ll give you everything you need: photos, stories, and a custom donation link. Set a goal, like feeding a school for a month or funding reusable feminine hygiene kits for fifty girls, and invite your network to join you.
4. Host a Sunday School or Youth Group Challenge
Empower the next generation to make a difference. Invite your kids, youth, or adult Sunday school class to collect spare change, host a bake sale, or fundraise as a group. We’ll provide a specific project to support, like clean water initiatives, supplementary school materials, or Bibles in the Sepedi language, and updates so they can see the impact.
5. Sponsor a Child as a Group
Gather a few friends, coworkers, or small group members and collectively sponsor one of our students in South Africa. Divide the cost and pray for the child together. We’ll send regular updates so your group can see how you’re making a difference.
6. Host a “Dinner for a Cause”
Plan a simple meal—whether it’s a spaghetti dinner, BBQ, or potluck—and ask attendees to make a donation in lieu of a ticket price. You can show a short Blessman International video and share a printed impact story to connect your guests with the cause.
7. Invite Us to Join Your Zoom Call or Team Meeting
If you lead a ministry team, business networking group, or women’s Bible study, consider inviting us to join your next Zoom call or in-person gathering. We can share an inspiring 5–10-minute update and offer ideas for how your group can support the mission. Sometimes, just hearing the story is enough to ignite generosity.
Let’s make it happen together.
Every dollar raised helps us feed children, equip leaders, empower girls, and share the love of Christ across South Africa. If one of these ideas resonates with you, we’d love to help you get started.
